HR Coordinator, AWS BeXT Workforce Compliance [South Korea]


 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 to 3 years of work experience in HR fields.
  • Knowledge and experience working with HR policies, processes and procedures
  • Strong communication (verbal, written and listening) in Korean and English
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, specifically, strong Excel skills (ability to create pivot tables, use vlookup and advanced formulas)

We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Amazon Web Services (AWS) Korea Builder Experience Team (BeXT) as a Human Resources Coordinator. The individual will be an integral part of the HR Team and will report to the Senior Manager, BeXT Workforce Compliance.

Key job responsibilities
  • Escalate broken processes and employee experiences. Continuously dive deep to find new ways to improve the employee experience.
  • Assist HRBPs and HRPs to handle employee services related requests or inquires via Joint Labor Management Council and/or other employee communication channels.
  • Manages confidential and sensitive employee information and adhere to strict data privacy standards.
  • Support HRBPs and HRPs to arrange and coordinate HR related events like Labor-Management Council (LMC) and key workforce compliance related meetings.
  • Compile data and provide HR reports for external reporting requirements.
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects and support other HR functions as necessary.
  • Respond to internal and external employee services related inquiries or requests via local HR team as an initial point of contact and provide the appropriate assistance where available.
  • Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the HR team (Employee Relation Center, Employee Services, Payroll, Builder Experience Team and HRBPs).
A day in the life
We expect the individual to closely work with HR Business Partners (HRBP) and HR Partners (HRP) in providing great internal support, executing our people initiatives and driving HR operational excellence and process improvement as it relates to workforce compliance.

BeXT Workforce Compliance provides services for business leaders and PXT to bring visibility and drive outcomes for workforce compliance. Our work protects AWS’ ability to effectively provide services to its customer while maintaining its status as a trusted employer. We work backward from the country, business and builder to solve what matters most to AWS. We work across lines of business and partner teams to drive decision making and track progress, maintaining connection between AWS and Amazon.

  • HR operational processes knowledge strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to identify process defects, make recommendations for process improvements, and implement process improvements
  • Ability to "roll up your sleeves", be solutions focused and comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions
  • Strong internal customer service focus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously - orientated on results
